Ok!

One of my favorite Bluds (bloggin' buds) is demanding to know everything that's going on....she's got quite the inquiring mind! For my dear Burfica I will attempt to forge ahead & give a brief synopsis on all that is/was going on.

There's no order of priority here....just as it comes to mind:

Butchy & I: We're back together and doing better than I could have ever imagined. We're in a REALLY good place & are trudging through past shit all while enjoying each other in the present. That's quite the feat!

Family: I'm loving being an Auntie, Sisser (that's not a misspelling) & Daughter! This is the first time in my adult life that I have lived in the same town as my family. It is rather odd being called, "Kathy"....I'm adjusting. Friends & coworkers still call me, "Kat." I've learned something surprising...my schedule is no longer my own...it is now only mine when the family doesn't have plans for me....I do love being from a close-knit family....really I DO! But there is a dark side....not an evil dark side....just your regular run-of-the-mill dark side. Close-knit families may live in separate dwellings....but the truth is that each separate dwelling is simply another room to a great big house. My room is the kid-crashing-movie-watching-pizza-eating room....I'm still figuring out the other rooms....I know my Mom's room is the strict-well-behaved-live-by-Mom's-rules room (not a very fun room to be in!)....my brother's is kind of a mish-mash...everything-said-at-top-volume-with-oodles-of-energy....this is what happens when 4 girls 12 years old & younger are all trying to be heard....AT THE SAME TIME!...by me. Fun, fun, fun.

I have to post this now or it will be sitting as a draft in my box for another couple of days.....I'll get more specific in the future!

Too Much!

I hate times like this! There's sooooo much for me to talk about that I don't even know where to start....then I get overwhelmed & think to myself, "self, take it one bit at a time"....I, then , figure that it takes time to formulate my thoughts...then I get distracted by dust in the air (why does it look so pretty in sunlight & so horrid on my entertainment center?).....after all this, there's nothing more I can do than simply stop & eat chocolate. No, eating chocolate doesn't get a post written, but it sure makes me feel better about not posting! Can I just say that chocolate is the food of goddesses?!? Great, now this is becoming an ode to chocolate......not that chocolate can't use another ode, but....crap. I give up.

Here's everything I want to write about in a nutshell....hmmmmm....chocolate with nuts.....STOP! I can eat chocolate AFTER I've written my list! A F T
