Pope goes home

I'm not Catholic. I've never really understood the importance of the Pope. All I've ever known about him is his stands on abortion, homosexuality, child molesters, euthanasia, etc. There are many times I didn't agree with him and his beliefs, but that doesn't mean that I didn't respect him. I respect those that live what they believe. I respect them, as long as they aren't harming anyone else.

His death today makes me sad. He has been the Pope since I was 12. My sadness doesn't really make sense to me. It doesn't really have to, I just am. To read an article about his death click on the title.

May the Lord, mighty God,
bless and keep you forever.
Grant you peace, perfect peace,
courage in every endeavor.
Lift up your eyes and see His face,
and His grace forever.
May the Lord, mighty God,
bless and keep you forever.

    Me

I'm older than Rolling Stone magazine, younger than color television, bigger than a Xbox, smaller than a Winnebago, taller than a goat, shorter than a horse, wider than a parking meter, "narrower" than the Space Needle, serious as a heart attack, sillier than the tickles, smarter than the average bear, dumber than my Mom, prettier than dirt, "uglier" than a sunset, girlie as a pryncess, moves through crowds like a linebacker, anal as an accountant, laid-back as a slug, darker than white chocolate, lighter than butterscotch pudding, louder than a whisper, "quieter" than a fog horn
